Putney employees completed the Cisco European Challenge

consisting of physical & mental battles in Ardennes Froest

Four members of the team at Dome have successfully competed in this year's Cisco European Challenge held in the Ardennes Forest, Belgium.

Competing against some highly experienced Adventure Racers (including 1 full-time professional team..!) the novice Dome team finished a credible 17th out of 60 teams from some of Europe's biggest companies.

The event pushed the team to and beyond the limits of their physical and mental endurance, claiming teamwork and clear communication as the essential assets to their success. All four have already committed to next year's event to be held in the ski resort of Mayrhofen, Austria.

Team Captain Steve Newbold said: “The whole event was an amazing experience and one of the toughest challenges we have ever faced, to finish so highly in our first event is fantastic and I’m really proud of the team for pulling together so well – even though the mountains in Mayrhofen will be even bigger, we are all really excited about next years event and improving on our performance”
