Cakes4Fun Creating A Right Royal Show Piece

For a free exhibition organised by Tate & Lyle

Cakes4Fun has been invited by Tate & Lyle to take part in a Royal Wedding Celebration Exhibition charting the history of royal wedding cakes and customs from roman times to the present day.

As holders of the Royal Warrant to supply icing sugar to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, who better than Tate and Lyle to showcase Royal Wedding Cakes - and Royal Icing?

Details are still under wraps, but they will be creating one of the centrepiece exhibits, displaying some of our award-winning showcakes and also running some Royal Icing Masterclasses during the exhibition.

The free exhibition will take place over the Easter weekend (just before the Royal Wedding) within the Wellington Arch which was once the formal gateway to Buckingham Palace.

Go and join them to learn some fascinating Royal History, see some amazing cakes and sample some wedding cake made to a genuine royal recipe... For fuller details closer to the time, visit the Tate&Lyle website on this link.
