Following a hugely successful first year, Independent Venue Week is back in 2015 with a seven day long series of gigs running from 26th January – 1st February 2015. Domino returns for a second round at the Half Moon Putney following last year’s storming night of rock and roll with Archie Bronson Outfit and The Amazing Snakeheads.
It’s been fifteen years since the release of Clinic’s irrepressible debut EP and in that time they have essentially delivered an exquisite masterclass in fearless singularity. Their junkshop-trawling analogue fetishism and warm, smoky instrumentation give their songs such a vividly placeable sense of mood and atmosphere. A band that never stray into the realm of the obvious or complacent; they truly represent the spirit of Independence.
Keep watching the skies for a new transmission from planet Clinic.
In the meantime, here’s the video for ‘Miss You’, taken from their last album Free Reign HERE.
