Tunes at Noon concert series continues

This Remembrance Sunday (13 November) a free recital will be held in All Saints’ Church on Putney Common.
It is part of the church’s Tunes at Noon concert series. These are relaxed recitals at lunchtime on a Sunday which are completely free for all.
Musicians from All Saints’ will present a programme around the theme of Remembrance.
There will be choral music by John Tavener, Hubert Parry and Edward Elgar, solo songs by Frank Bridge and Ralph Vaughan Williams, as well as some lighter pieces including ‘Keep the home fires burning’ and ‘Danny Boy’.
The concert will last half an hour. There will be a retiring collection to support the work of All Saints’.
On Saturday 19 November there will be two performances of
Forgotten Voices at St. Mary's Church at 3pm & 7.30pm. This is an adaptation by Malcolm McKay of Max Arthur's forgotten voices of the Great War. It will be directed by Gerrad McArthur and performed by John Chancer, Geoff Leesley, Paul Moriarty, Maggie Ollerenshaw and Charlier Roe. Tickets on the door cost £15/ £12 concessions.
