Jamie Afro Releases 'Insanity' For The Prince's Trust

In 2009 Jamie was a competitor in the TV talent programme X Factor. If you don't know already, Jamie's single 'insanity' has been chosen as The Official Charity Single For The Prince's Trust ‘UK City Riots Appeal’. The single was released on Monday 6th February on iTunes and AmazonMP3 only.
Jamie has recently been on TV and radio around the country promoting the release and Appeal. He was on SKY NEWS’ ‘Sunrise’ with Eamonn Holmes last week, talking about the single and why supporting this cause is so important to us all here in the UK. As well as doing media interviews, Jamie and the band have also been visiting a serveral of The Prince Trust centres around the country, which helps young people receive training, education and find employment.
This appeal is actively helping young people who have had a tough start in life, turn their lives around, and to make them creative and productive; thereby, avoiding them turning to crime, joining gangs and potentially becoming a rioter in the future. There are so many good examples of what this charity has done to help give young people hope. With this campaign, the aim is to further tackle the frightening riots of last August. Jamie has always supported the Prince's Trust and even applied for a small loan when he was 15, so he could buy his first guitar.
