Fundraising badge challenge will raise funds to renovate showers at the scout hut

The 5th Putney Sea Scouts are based on Putney Embankment and run Beavers, Cubs and Sea Scouts for local children. The Scouts are currently working towards their ‘fundraising badge’ and have set up an online auction to raise money for the renovation of the shower rooms at the scout hut.



This will allow 5th Putney and other local groups to take advantage of the riverside location and offer overnight camps.

As part of this badge, the scouts have designed promotional posters, written thank you letters and spoken to parents about this project.

The Auction runs until 29 June (8pm). If you would like to bid on an auction lot, visit their site. There are some amazing lots, donated by local businesses. The 5th Putney Sea Scouts said: "Thank you to everyone who has donated prizes and to everyone who places bids!”
