Resurfacing cannot take place in wet conditions
Carriageway restrictions from the junction with Putney Bridge Road to the junction with Disraeli Road were planned from 13th -17th January with two-way temporary traffic signals. The works are to install antiskid surfacing and highlighted crossing points.
A spokesman for the Council has told PutneySW15.com that:
"The inclement weather had hampered our efforts somewhat. This work requires dry conditions so if it is raining no work can take place. "
This should result in the works continuing until
on Friday and Monday to Wednesday nights to complete the work, however the spokesman did warn that if the wet weather continues the works may take longer.
Works are to be carried out between 8pm and 5am.
