The Putney Society needs you
You are reading this on PutneySW15.com, so we think you are interested in your local area. PutneySW15.com is a great place to air your views, which is why the Putney Society’s members work closely with its forums. For instance, the Society campaigns tirelessly on planning matters, air pollution, and the Thames Tunnel; on amenities for the community such as shopping, services for older people, libraries and post office provision. We organise blue plaques to recognise Putney meritocrats such as Edward Gibbon, social events and election hustings. If you are not already a member of the Putney Society, why not join? The membership application form is on our website: www.putneysociety.org.uk .
If you are already a member why not become more involved? You can make a difference to the community, and take a lead by applying to join the Putney Society Executive Committee (if you are a member of the Society), and take an active role on a great number of issues that are discussed on PutneySW15.com.
Now is the chance for you to help with our activities. Contact Carolyn McMillan cmcmill38@gmail.com if you’d like to have more details of what is involved. Please see our website http://www.putneysociety.org.uk/events/annual-general-meeting-2012.html and, if you are a member of the Putney Society, send in your nomination by 15 March.
