Passionate About Putney?

The Putney Society needs you

You are reading this on PutneySW15.com, so we think you are interested in your local area. PutneySW15.com is a great place to air your views, which is why The Putney Society’s members work closely with its forums.

You can make a difference to the community by joining the Putney Society executive and help organise public meetings on a great number of issues that are discussed on PutneySW15.com.

The Society also campaigns tirelessly on planning matters, air pollution, and the Thames Tunnel; on amenities for the community such as shopping, services for older people, libraries and post office provision. We also organise blue plaques to recognise Putney meritocrats such as Edward Gibbon, social events and election hustings.

Now is the chance for you to take a lead and join our Executive Committee and help with these activities - please see our website: http://www.putneysociety.org.uk/events/annual-general-meeting-2012.html and send in your nomination by 15 March. Contact Carolyn McMillan cmcmill38@gmail.com if you’d like to have more details.
