The Christmas Market & turning on of the tree lights starts the countdown to Christmas

The Putney Christmas Lights and market event held on 2nd December was a huge success with three school choirs, a church choir, lantern procession by around 130 people through the town centre, Al Fresco all-girl steel band, Putney Light Operatics Society and a brilliant festive and Christmas Tree lights switch-on at 6pm by local MP Justine Greening.

Church Square was crammed with people and a market including local retailers and pubs proved really popular.
