Trinity Hospice are looking for volunteers for Putney boutique

Trinity Hospice’s fashion and lifestyle boutique, located near the railway station, at 147 Putney High Street is undertaking a big volunteer recruitment drive this month. The shop, newly renovated last year, is looking for volunteers both on weekdays and at weekends and particularly on busy Saturdays.

Stefan Karas, Retail Manager for Trinity Hospice, said “We’re looking for energetic, motivated and enthusiastic people with a passion for fashion and retail. We’d love to hear from people with excellent communications skills and an eye for style. A few hours a week can really help make a big difference to Trinity’s patients and their families. You will be helping us to raise as much money as possible through our sales in shops. The funds from our shops go directly to help us deliver our amazing home and inpatient services. Volunteering with us means you will gain new skills in retailing, including visual merchandising, stock management and pricing ,to name a few.

He continues: “We offer a fantastic training programme, which will enable you to recognise labels as well as equip you with the skills to make a window display look fantastic. You will also learn about pricing and much more. You will need to have excellent communication skills and we will work with you to build on your existing skillset. This is a great opportunity for you to help a good cause and you can fit it in around your studies, childcare or work.”

There is a lot happening for Trinity in Putney. It recently opened a large furniture shop on Putney Bridge Road which is doing incredibly well selling a wide range of furnishings and home accessories. In June, Trinity’s fashion boutique will be holding a special designer day, selling items by Stella McCartney, Gucci, Chanel and many more.
