Putney resident supports Thai Orphans

with a gruelling 2000km cycle ride

In late October, local Putney resident, Hamish Forbes is due to embark on a gruelling cycle marathon in order to raise money for orphans and homeless children in Thailand.

The supported ride involves cycling the length( yellow line in map above) of Thailand from the northern border with Myanamar to the southern border with Malaysia, a total of 2000km in just 11 days. Hamish who cycles to work on a daily basis will find this a a major venture as the distances to be covered in the heat of Thailand are relentless with no rest days in which to recover.

Hamish is currently seeking sponsorship in aid of the Pattaya Orphanage Trust
so if you feel like making a donation you can easily do so by visiting www.justgiving.com/thailandendtoend or alternatively you can contact him directly at hamishforbes@hotmail.com.
