Sainsbury’s Putney Store To Undergo Refurbishment


The store will remain open during works

Sainsbury’s has announced that the Putney store will be undergoing improvement works between 16 March and 4 April 2014.

The store will benefit from internal redecoration, improved refrigeration units, new branding and reconfigured checkouts. Outside the store, cosmetic improvements will be carried out to the car park alongside some external redecorating.

Sainsbury’s state that they are committed to being a good neighbour and a responsible employer and have therefore appointed Harry Grover Limited, a member of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, to undertake the refurbishment works. The store will remain open throughout the improvements and every effort will be made to ensure the work is undertaken safely, efficiently and sensitively.

Sainsbury’s Project Manager, Chucks Nwabineli said: “We are delighted to be refurbishing our Putney store and look forward to providing our customers with a more pleasant and modern shopping environment.”
