27 Patients Evacuated Due To Fire


Crews from seven fire stations assisted in the evacuation on Friday

A fire on Friday night (17th January) in a treatment room led to the evacuation of 27 patients from the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability on West Hill. According to the RHN it was:
"
was contained to one room behind a fire door damage is thankfully limited".

The patients were bed bound and moved by fire fighters from Wandsworth, and also crews from Battersea, Fulham, Kingston, Tooting, Sutton, & Wimbledon.



The hospital tweeted that not patients or staff were injured & t
he patients were all returned to their wards on Saturday.
