Police Stop Man From Jumping Off Putney Bridge

Bridge closure results in traffic delays

Police and London Ambulance were called to Putney Bridge when a man threatened to jump off into the river on January 22nd.

Police were also in a boat on the river plus a boat from Chiswick RNLI.

The bridge was closed until 4.15 and the man has been detained by the police.
