as the Maltese Cat moves out of Putney
Councillors gave the go ahead to the development at last night’s meeting of the planning applications committee.
The three and four storey building will comprise 19 two-bedroom flats – all of which will be offered to local people.
Planning applications chairman Ravi Govindia said:
“The building has a modern design which works well in this location. The new homes will add to the growing supply of affordable accommodation now being built in the borough.”
There are currently more than 2000 new affordable homes either planned or under development in the borough.
