Police are appealing for help locating a missing woman from Bristol
Samantha Hemmings was last seen on Monday July 25, 2011 in London. She was seen catching a bus from New Malden to Pultney Bridge. She was heading to Victoria Bus Station to return to Bristol and has not been seen since.
Samantha was reported missing on Tuesday July 26 and since then police have been conducting enquiries in Bristol and London. Since she went missing her family and police officers involved in the investigation are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Samantha is 28-years-old and is described as a white woman, 5'6" tall, medium build and with blonde medium-length hair. She has a scar on her right arm, a tattoo of Pegasus on her left calf and some Chinese writing on her right ankle. When she was last seen she had her hair tied up in a ponytail, and was wearing blue jeans, black trainers with a pink Nike logo and pink laces. She was carrying a small black plastic bag and had a yellow bandanna in her back pocket.
Investigating her disappearance, Detective Inspector Marie Wright said:
"Samantha has been missing for several days now and we are working hard to establish her whereabouts. Our enquiries are continuing in both Bristol and London but at this stage we do not know if Samantha caught the bus to Bristol as her friend was expecting her to do.
"I am appealing to the public to help us locate Samantha and report any sightings of her to the police. Samantha, or anyone who knows where she is, should contact Avon and Somerset Police on 0845 456 7000."
