Man Suffers Smoke Inhalation In Flat Fire


Four fire engines and twenty one fire fighters dealt with Bell Drive blaze

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers dealt with a flat fire on Bell Drive in Putney this Wednesday (31 March).

The ground floor flat was badly damaged by the blaze. A man left the property before the Brigade arrived. He was suffering from smoke inhalation and was treated by London Ambulance Service paramedics.

Fire crews from Fulham, Battersea, Wandsworth and Tooting fire stations were at the scene. The Brigade was called at 4.28pm and the fire was under control less than an hour later. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
