Putney Labour Calls On Corbyn To Step Down


In the same week Battersea & Tooting also called for resignation


Three Wandsworth Constituency Labour Parties - Battersea, Putney and Tooting - supported motions of no confidence in the Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn this month.

The Putney monthly meeting was attended by 49 members and the delegates voted 19-4 in favour of the motion 'Putney CLP has no confidence in the leadership of the party provided by Jeremy Corbyn and calls for his resignation'. In addittion the Putney delegates passeda motion condemning the recent outbursts of racism in the UK.

Battersea voted 64-20 and Tooting voted 82-58 in favour of a no confidence resolution.
