Knitting Concerts Raise Over Four Thousand Pounds

Donations received over the seven concerts have supported seven charities

The Knitting concerts are held from January to July in All Saints' Church on Putney Common and are the result of the organisational & musical skills and contacts of Robert Bridge.

The season has closed and the following donations were received:

January - Centrepoint £450

February - Royal Hospital for Neurodisability £900

March - Music and the Deaf £400

April - The Shannon Trust for literacy in prisons £700

May - Age Concern £1100

June - Terence Higgins Trust £450

July - Starlight £450

The charities will be grateful to all the performers who Robert describes as having given "so generously of their time and skills, and to the sponsors who have made the sums possible".
