St Mary's Homeless Shelter opens 3rd November

The Homeless shelter starts at St Mary’s on 3 November, and will run every Monday until the week before Easter.

Donations are most welcome (but not until the beginning of November). Clothes appreciated, but nothing that needs dry cleaning! Coats, waterproof ski type jackets are always popular, as are good condition trainers, new underwear, socks, fleecy jumpers/ hoodies. There are usually about 5 women, so women’s fleecy track suits, warm coats, underwear, socks, trainers (in decent condition) are all much appreciated.

Wheely bags/back packs also useful, but NO suitcases! Toiletries such as shower gel (no bubble bath!), shampoo, tooth brushes, toothpaste, disposable razors, deodorant etc all welcome too.

Best to take them to St Mary’s, to the Church office, on a MONDAY if possible, but not before the beginning of November.
