Roadworks Hit Water Mains

Putney High Street remains closed to northbound traffic

Due to emergency repair works to a water main, Putney High Street SW15 is currently closed northbound from the junction with Upper Richmond Road Road to the junction with Norroy Road.

One local resident told this website that the water main was damaged by ongoing roadworks overnight (28-29 August). They lost their water supply but this has now been reconnected.


No traffic northbound this morning

Additional traffic disruption is expected in the area and the closure is expected to remain for a couple of days.
