"Best Turnaround Pub 2011" in the London Region in The Great British Pub Awards.

The award ceremony will be hosted by Rory Bremner at The London Hilton on Park Lane on Thursday 8th September.

Commenting on the award Carrie Davies said:
"This nomination is testament to all the hard work the team at The Half Moon have put in over the last 18 months. 

We'd like to thank all the customers, local people and businesses, music fans and musicians for the support they have given us because without them we wouldn't be here! 

In December 2009 it looked as if The Half Moon would no longer be a live music venue. Now it's future is secure and this nomination shows what a wonderful community we have. Thank you everyone!"

The Great British Pub Awards take place each year and are hosted by The Morning Advertiser.
