Putney MP revealed she was in same-sex relationship during Pride Festival
Justine Greening, the MP for Putney, has revealed on that she is in a same sex relationship and says that she has been overwhelmed with messages of support since making the announcement.
She posted on Twitter that she was ‘better off out’ at the beginning of the annual Pride festival making it clear she was referring to her sexuality rather than her position on the EU Referendum where she is firmly for the Remain camp.
She received a huge number of congratulatory messages include one from David Cameron who was, at the time. Prime Minister. She becomes the first openly LGBT woman to serve in the Cabinet.
She has been in a relationship with Tess, a university lecturer for several years.
Justine has been MP for Putney since 2005 when she was the youngest ever MP. She is currently International Development secretary having been Transport secretary.
