Justine Greening in Parliament today

In Parliament this afternoon Putney MP Justine Greening has confirmed that she will be voting against the Prime Ministers Brexit deal.

In her 4 minute speech she said that this was "not about part politics" but about representing their constituents and the best interest of the communities that the MP's represent.

She accused the Leaders of both sides of the house of failing the political system. She believes that voting against the deal is not about thwarting democracy but that she is representing her community.

Having compared the handling of the agreement to the sinking of the Titanic where you are blaming the iceberg for the collision.

British politics needs to change how they work together to improve how MP's work together on long term issues e.g. housing, social care for the British. She stated that she believes that Britain will move from a "fudged deal to a fudged delay". Finishing she called for a second referendum if no agreement can be made "the public must be allowed a say".
