Putney MP attended Mosque prayer meeting

for victims of terrorist atrocity

Justine Greening, MP for Putney, Roehampton and Southfields today attended a service held by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association for victims of the recent terror attacks in London at Baitul Futuh Mosque in Morden, South London. Speaking shortly after the service, Ms Greening said:

“I was honoured to stand alongside my constituents in this service which utterly condemned the depraved actions of fanatics who seek to take innocent life.

“The terrorists will not succeed in setting us against one another and this service was a powerful testimony to the unity of tolerant people. The local Ahmadiyya Movement are an asset to the community of Southfields and I am confident that with the support of such movements, the extremists will never succeed in dividing us.
