Roehampton Actress Dreams Of 'Chief Funster' Role
23 year old Holly Easterbrook is shortlisted for the "best job in the world"
Holly has been shortlisted from a total of 600,000 people battling it out for the ultimate role of ‘Chief Funster’ in Sydney, and is now down to the final 25 contestants.
Having grown up in Roehampton where she was head girl at Tiffin Girls' School, Holly has just appeared with ex-Steps star Faye Tozer in The Tailor Made Man in the West End.
To get to this far in the competition, Holly submitted a 30 second video clip which illustrated her thirst for adventure, whilst rapping her plea over the top of the images.
Holly said: “Somehow, I got their attention! This is an absolute dream job for me, it will allow me to visit the country I have yet to visit and have been fascinated with, whilst completely submerging myself in the culture, arts and events that Sydney has to offer.”
The actress, who also studied at Sir Paul McCartney's LIPA, believes that her confidence and determination make her the perfect candidate for the role.
“Having sky dived on April Fools' Day, completed my open water padi and performed for the King of the United Arab Emirates’ children in Dubai (all in the last year), I can honestly say very little stands in my way of an adventure!”
Having watched Holly last summer at the Edinburgh Fringe in a thought provoking production of Proof, (pictured right with her stage 'father' Marcus Taylor) I can recommend her stage presence and ability.

Holly must now battle against the other remaining 24 applicants, to build up
her fan base and media profile before the 3 finalists are announced later in

The competition is part of a Tourism Australia’s marketing strategy to promote the country’s Working Holiday Maker programme, in which young people between the ages of 18 and 30 from Britain and some other countries can work for a year in the country.
