Putney Student Shines In Dazzling 'DLD's Got Talent' Contest
19 year old Harold Gordon Smith dazzled the audience
Talented Putney guitarist and DLD College London student Harold Gordon Smith has taken to the stage to dazzle the audience with a sensational performance in the college’s annual ‘DLD’s Got Talent’ show.
Budding musician Harold, 19, who lives on Costello Avenue, played the notoriously difficult ‘Coro No.1’ by Villa-Lobo on the classical guitar, entertaining staff and students at the leading Marylebone-based independent college.
Currently studying a Music Foundation Degree, a programme of study that is part of the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Harold took time out to showcase his talents and perform alongside a selection of other students from the college.
From singers to musicians, the Marylebone-based college’s show saw students shine as they celebrated their vast array of talents and a collection of cosmopolitan cultures.
The action-packed and fun-filled event took place in the college’s purpose-built theatre.
Harold commented: “All the acts were really impressive and it was great to see that everyone had put so much hard work into their performances. The feedback from the judges was excellent and so I am thrilled that I took part.”
