Academic loses months of research when bag stolen from car on Deodar Road
Thief cycles off with bag on his back towards Putney Bridge Road
On Tuesday (14 August) a cyclist spotted a bag in a car parked on Deodar Road, smashed the window and grabbed the bag.
The bag stolen was a flat blue and white with red trim leather bag with large lettering saying Superdry. Inside the bag there was a MacBook Air 13" screen laptop (silver), a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet (dark grey), 2 small black Microsoft Lumia
650 phones. Also 2 small square red notebooks and one black notebook - these note books " are especially valuable, but not to anyone else" as they contain months of research.
Adrian asks Putney residents to look out for these notebooks: "Usually when a bag is stolen, the thief quickly throws away the non-valuables - sometimes just chucking them in a convenient dustbin. I would be so grateful if things like notebooks or handwritten papers could be recovered. Could anyone in Putney, especially in Putney Bridge Road, or nearby please check their dustbins before they are emptied next week? CCTV footage shows the thief on a push bike quickly peddling off from Deodar Road to Putney Bridge Road".
