Pair spotted breaking into motor vehicle

As part of the general crackdown on moped enabled crime across the borough a police helicopter was deployed over Putney Embankment this Wednesday evening (7 February).

Wandsworth Police requested assistance after two people on a motor bike were spotted breaking into a motor vehicle at around 8pm.

Police are targeting moped enabled crime

The helicopter circled the area for some time but the bike had already made off. Officers, both on the ground and in the air continued the search but the suspects weren’t found.

A car was found at the location that had been broken into and property stolen.
