ASSISTANCE

Police in Putney

Putney Police Sector Office , Putney High Street (next to the cinema), for crime prevention advice, property marking, etc.  Open from Monday to Friday between 11am and 2pm and on Saturday from 10am to 2pm .

Age Concern Wandsworth, tel. 020 8877 8940 can offer advice and assistance to the over-50s, whether or not you have been a victim of crime. You can also report a crime and get advice at the Age Concern Safe & Secure Advice Desk, at 549 Old York Road, London, SW18 1TQ each Thursday from 10am to 1pm, where you can speak to a police Crime Prevention Officer, Victim Support worker or a Community Safety Officer.

Victim Support, tel. 0207 223 1234, is an independent charity that helps people cope with crime.

Trained staff and volunteers, based in local branches, contact people after a crime has been committed, to offer free, confidential support and information.  The Police and other organisations refer victims of crime to Victim Support; however some people feel able to ‘pop in’ to one of our branches to ask for assistance.
