Yolande Elliot wins Rear of the Year Competition
22 year old Yolande Elliot has beaten off stiff competition to triumph in the 'Show Me Your sloggi' UK Rear of the Year competition.
She prevailed over eight other finalists at the last stage of the nationwide hunt which was held this week at the CC Club in Piccadilly. The finalists had been chosen from 5,500 entrants.
Swimwear designer Yolande, who is considering a career in modelling, was entered into the competition by her mother and won over the judges by her lady-like demeanour. She was not the only Putney resident in the final, 26 year old Sophie Palmer, had also made it after entering the competition at the V-festival.
The contest was judged by talent scouts from a leading model agency, sloggi's head of advertising and a psychologist.
She is reported as saying "I was nervous at first, it felt a bit strange when they presented us with the tiny underwear and walking around in it in a club was an odd experience. But I'm used to wearing a bikini so I'm not too shy."
She will now go onto the international finals to be held in Munich at the end of this month. The international sloggi competition has been running for the past six months, across the world there have been 72,000 entrants from 29 different countries.
