Septuagenarian owner Claudia Settimo reunited with her yorkshire terrier
Kingston Vale pensioner Claudia Settimo has been reunited with her much loved pet Alfie after the Metropolitan Police released him this Thursday (24 August).
The Yorkshire Terrier had been seized by police from Kingston under the Dangerous Dogs Act on 18 August following a complaint by a courier that he had been bitten by Alfie on his stomach and behind the ear when delivering a parcel in June.
The victim, who is in his mid-thirties, went to a west London hospital and was treated for minor injuries.
He reported the matter to police on 26 June.
Officers from Kingston borough interviewed Ms Settimo on Wednesday, 23 August. Alfie was assessed by officers from the Status Dog Unit who have approved his return and Ms. Settimo was required to sign an acceptable behaviour contract as a condition of the return of her dog.
