A3 Closed Off Southbound Following Accident

One person arrested for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis

The A3 was closed off on the southbound carriageways after the police were called at around 5.45am this morning (1 September), to reports of a collision between two cars on the A3 near the junction with the A238, beyond Robin Hood roundabout.

London Ambulance Service was also at the scene, but nobody is believed to have been seriously injured.


One person – no further details at present – was arrested at the scene for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.

Officers from the South West Command Unit are investigating.
