Putney residents have a new bus link to Barnes and Hammersmith.
The new 485 route started on May 6 and runs run from Ram Street, Wandsworth to Hammersmith Bus Station via Putney Common, Barnes Pond, Church Road and Castelnau.
The service operates half-hour frequencies throughout the day and early evening - Monday to Saturday - with a journey time of 29 minutes.
The first bus leaves Ram Street at 6.45am with the last one of the day at 7.15pm.
The first bus from Hammersmith leaves at 7am and the last at 7.30pm.
The route is operated by London General from Putney Garage with two single deck buses.
Cabinet member for transport Guy Senior said:
"The council has been pressing for this service for Putney residents. If it proves popular popular we will want to see it extended later into the evenings and Sundays."
