Literary Putney is a guide to twenty-eight literary figures connected to Putney and its locality by living in it, writing about it, making it a central location for novels or just passing through.

Sue Rolfe produced The Putney Debates 1647, Cromwell and Democracy at St Mary's, 2007; Putney Walkabout: guided walks around Putney for visually impaired people, and site-specific dramatised walk based on Arnold Bennett's novel Buried Alive, 2008. An executive member of the Putney Society for whom she has organised commemorative blue plaques since 2008.
