ISSUE: Putney Garden Centre

Key Vote on Garden sale approaching

Following the planning meeting on 16 November the Council passed the housing application for the site on Dryburgh Road.

However, the applications will be considered again at a full Council meeting on 6 December. Every Councillor will have a vote and it is not too late to influence the way they vote.

Local support is enormous over 7000 signatures on the petition and over 200 individual letters.

To contact the Council and influence their vote you can:

1) write directly to the Town Hall

2) contact the members Room on fax 020 8871 8611

3) e-mail mrider@wandsworth.gov.uk

According to a recent flier from the Putney Liberal Democrats the West Putney Councillor did not go to the meeting on the 16 November - he could have voted to save the Garden Centre!
