Thomas De-Castle-Lynne bit off the finger of 'paedophile hunter'
A man from Parsons Green has been found guilty of biting off the top of the finger of a ‘paedophile hunter’ who cornered him at a railway station.
46-year-old kitchen porter, Thomas De-Castle-Lynne, was convicted of wounding with intent as well as offences relating to grooming at St Albans Crown Court.

In March of this year a group calling themselves "Catching Online Predators" had set up a decoy Facebook account purporting to be a 14-year-old girl called Maddie Parker.
De-Castle-Lynne turned up at Stevenage station expecting to meet an underage teenage girl but was confronted by the group who attempted to make a citizen’s arrest. In the ensuing struggle De-Castle-Lynne bit off the top of the finger of Stephen Little who was a member of the group.
Mr Little gave evidence saying "All I can remember is that as we restrained him we took him to the floor. He clamped onto my finger with his teeth. I remember excruciating pain."
The wound did not heal and the tip of Mr Little’s left little finger has had to be amputated.
De-Castle-Lynne was convicted of attempting to meet a child under 16 following grooming, causing grievous bodily harm with intent and common assault but cleared of assault by beating. The prosecution told the court that he had also been engaged with three other fake accounts set up by the group.
He was remanded in custody to be sentenced on 29 November.
