Lib-Dem flyers

Whilst I welcome any political parties actively pushing leaflets and letters to residents to support their party, the cheek that the latest Lib-dem flyers invite you to 'join their party' and the second page after entering personal details is to ask for a direct debit for money. Haven't politicians learnt enought that people aren't happy to pay for poor services and useless schemes. The absolute cheek of it all, straight into the bin.

"Haven't politicians learnt enough that people aren't happy to pay for poor services and useless schemes"And yet our taxes facilitate Hounslow Labour to do just that. And give them a raise in the process.

Pretty sure all political parties will ask for a membership fee if you want to become a member, which is going to give you access to vote in party leadership elections, policy decisions etc...It goes to running the party itself, covering cost of staff and leaflets etc... not on council services.

The op. seems confused , the Libdems are asking you to join their party, your choice  nothing to do with provision of council services which is led by the Labour Party in any case.

They should be cultivating shady crypto-billionaires for donations so they don't have to ask the rest of us.

That ship has long sailed ( to an off shore tax haven no doubt) where man of the people Nigel Farage is probably working out how to launder it so it seems to be legitimate.

No intelligent and astute billionaire is going to donate to a meaningless party lead by a clown who should never have been elected following his disgraceful behaviour towards Post Masters. He should be stripped of his Knighthood and no self respecting person should serve under him.
