Personal Trainers using Tree Branches in the Parks

Acton Green and Chiswick back Common  I see that  personal trainers are using Tree Branches  for there clients as the Heatwave Continues a lot stress been but on Trees at the moment.

Let's have a looky loo...Cyclists doing 30 in a 20mph don't get a PCN.Cyclists don't have to register an authorized vehicle and pay for it.Cyclists don't have to undergo any testing to prove their road-worthiness. And pay for the privilege.Unauthorized illegal vehicles are allowed to run amok. Registration would eliminate that. Enforcement would eliminate that.  So while we all pay taxes, we all don't pay fees.

It suits the motorists are put upon narrative that plenty of posters here subscribe to.FWIW The road fund license for my car was £20 this year, and £0 the previous two years.I pay tens of thousands in tax every year, and that’s fin , but all tax payers contribute to paying for roads, regardless of how much they use them,

Well said,it's amazing the amount of ignorance amongst some people about cyclists lack of  contribution to road upkeep..

Of course cyclists pay road upkeep etc comes from taxation.

If in a conservation area it's an offence to damage a tree.

A few years back, LBH increased all permit fees across the board. They issued a complete list which included every imaginable thing you could think of. From burial to PTs using parks.Personally I have no problem with anyone using trees. Nor parks. Because at the end of the day, if you let a private residence do precisely the same, no reason an abiding business could not. You're talking about personal health and wellness. We let cyclists use roads without payment let alone training and we're told time and time again it's for improving health. Surely we can let a PT or two use some tree branches for the exact same purpose.  Should we prevent kids from climbing trees while we're at it?

Some trees can suddenly drop branches when they are stressed.

The private schools who use Chiswick Common for exercise are exemplary.When the weather isn't too hot the children do their exercises under supervision and leave without a semblance of litter and damage to the environment.

It's always annoyed me when people set up their private business in our public parks and presumably pay nothing for the privilege, such as keep fit and exercise trainers who encourage their clients to lean on trees or pull at them with elastic bands.I'm also in two minds about private schools taking over chunks of our parks for 'games' and 'PE' for their pupils, presumably because they don't have enough space on their own site. But maybe they pay a fee?  Or maybe not?

I have seen a warning not to sit under trees as they become unstable in the heat and dry weather. So this doesn't seem too clever! I expect there are correspondents on this site who will have an informed opinion about this.
