Sorry if silly question but do you waterproof just the outside of an all leather hat, or inside as well, if anyone knows please, did try to find out on google.

If the outside waterproofing works, there's no need; plus waterproofing the inside would trap any water that did find its way in; so my answer is: Outside Only - same as leather shoes..

Mink oil and Neatsfoot oil are two excellent treatmants for leather.

Thanks, he wanted is treated with barmah waterproof spray, I would normally use Beeswax.
