They'll have to send the Tog Police round to check that his duvet complies with the latest regulations.Is Climate Change something to 'feel' about? Thought it was a bit more scientific than feelings and emotions. But then green people do get all feely and emotionally worked up about air con in ways that they don't about fridge freezers, washing machines, or central heating

I was horrified to hear a radio presenter musing over whether he should change the tog on his duvet.  Wearing skin tight jeans or cords, not turning the mattress topper onto its summer side, still wearing vests and woollen shirts - all things which just make you hotter in hot weather - but why change the habits of a lifetime - when some simple adjustments can make life much more comfortable and reduce the amount of electricity you need to be comfortable.

Kathleen, you left off some variants there. PARDON. Heat pump technology makes air con a lot cheaper than most people think. Not that Ms Bond does a lot of the latter.

Dave, curious. Do you not believe climate change is real. Believe the climate is changing but not caused by human activity; burning fossil fuels. Believe the climate is changing, caused by human activity, but not concerned about it.

Yes, it's unfortunate that low energy air source pumps only get referred to/and thought about as 'heat' pumps.

I use west London plumbing (020 3561 4415) for my aircon install.  Very good service; John is excellent and the price is competitive. There’s also no VAT as a government initiative.  It’s a life changer.
