Why are the E3 buses so hot? The poor bus drivers must be over heating and many of them are women

In winter the buses don't use heating and summer it's always hot.

Oh dear, air not hair, these silly computers change the words sometimes. Why on earth would they have the heaters on when its so hot?

On the hottest days, the E3 buses were pumping hot air into the passenger spaces - everyone sweating - I asked the driver (nicely) but he just shrugged and wouldn't answer ...

Ive been on E3 buses when it's warm, not hot, and the small windows are all open for a good reason. The driver has the blooming heating on.

I fail to see that the hair grooming regimes of the drivers be they male or female,is any of a passenger's business.
