Many thanks for the advice Chris - in fact we are reconsidering what to do. We shall need some help morning and evening for my husband but I think now that there are probably better ways of arranging this.

You should look at the Renters Rights Act before you let someone move in and also how Minimum Wage will effect you.Please take professional advice you could have a permanent tenant.
