Jeremy, the system and sector is such there will always be an issue in one way or another. Again, neither of us know the specifics. But to go from 5 to 0 to 5 seems suspect to me. Here's a thought...if there is an issue, give the place a chance to correct whatever it is in a timely fashion. Then re-visit and re-evaluate. It seems to me all this happened within a week so why all the fuss?  Like Peter says, I can't imagine the issue was that significant to warrant a zero especially if it was so easily reversed. But the incessant threat of fines and prosecution does no one any good.Another tidbit from the annals: one day I was working the counter in Chiswick. In walks a woman with two beefy body guards. All were in bullet-proof vests and armed. Intimidating to say the least. No niceties, no real introduction, just an aggressive nature that belied the space. Why do I say that? Because all three of them were "investigating" a complaint of a local venue under-pouring meaning the customer wasn't getting the proper sized amount of liquor in the glass. How utterly absurd is that response? And why would you walk into a cafe fully loaded, so to speak, and have a go at the person working given what was being investigated? The concepts of cooperation, reasoning, judgement and working as a team are missing. They shouldn't be if the point is to build a sustainable community. Those working in LBH are in the community business. But I'll be damned if there is any evidence of that.
