The way to sell items is by looking at eBay and Amazon marketplace. Not to see what people are asking but what sold and for how much, even how many and when. I'm sure you know the above, but many people see the prices being asked but never look at what did sell and for how much. You can ask what you like,its what people will pay. Newspapers and magazines, I find, only sell for good money when it's fashion and music, and only certain editions. The exception is an event, and more likely during the war periods, when the numbers printed were low or lost in the war. Certain football match programmes can bring good money. A 1901 or 1906 Spurs FA cup programme can fetch 6 digits, for instance. But after all that, it seems private eye is fit for wallpapering your toilet
