Front page article on H&F council changing the light bulbs on the bridge.

"The council says the works combine cutting-edge engineering with careful heritage preservation, ensuring the bridge remains one of the world’s most distinctive suspension structures." Distinctive?  Sure is but for all the wrong reasons.

Yeah but I love the lamps, they did a good job,  They can be reused on the new bridge 😉

Maybe "pretty" at night from a distance but during the day only if you like flaking and faded paint, rust, rotten woodwork and the general gloom  of neglect.

Looks pretty, don't think they ever intended to reopen the bridge to traffic.
