The bottom line is that doctors leave when trained. It's not all about pay, it's also conditions. They are not paid overtime when they are late finishing. It seems in a lot of othe countries they work under less stress. It's the same with teachers. Retention is a huge problem. Long hours again.

There was an article on BBC about the lack of productivity in the NHS surgical procedures due to training doctors they have a serious attitude problem and dragging the NHS down they get massive subsidies to complete their training. Wes needs to tackle any pay award should link to increased productivity that’s where he went wrong with the last huge pay rise they received.

Think Wes has had a difficult job to do not helped by decisions made, I.e stop heating payments and flooding hospitals with patients when he was trying to get waiting lists down, now apparently NHS workers may be laid off,  Dah
