We R Blighty - a warning

Fundraisers for this organisation have been active on Chiswick High Road.You need to bear in mind this is not a charity, it has been fined for illegal fundraising by the City of London and senior army officers say that it is undermining the work of genuine veterans' charities. If you want to support such causes the excellent Royal British Legion collectors are currently at Turnham Green station. Are you sure you mean The Veterans Association? This appears to be a proper charity whereas We R Blighty is a CIC a structure which would be subject to much less scrutiny.

Apologies, I stand corrected. The Veterans Association are based in Birchington, not in Broadstairs. Although both are in Kent.michael adams

Like the Veterans' Association, which was discussed a few months back, as a result of collectors' over zealous methods, this organisation is also based in Broadstairs; although not in the same premises.I believe this point was also raised before; the number of such organisations springing up in the one location.Along with possibly shared directorships.michael adams
