EU entry/exit border controls

Has anyone travelled since the introduction of these ? Just wondering if I should allow more time at the airport ?

The EES rigmarole is required every 3 years as appearances can change.

Ah maybe not, we would still have been eu nationals. What a dumb thing to throw away. The EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is a new digital border management system designed to record the entry and exit of non-EU nationals crossing the Schengen area’s external borders for short stays.

I think had we stayed we'd still have to do this as we weren't and aren't in the schengen area anyway?

definitely, though worth checking before you travel for your particular destination, as not all happening at once
